FILMS
I have made a number of testimony-based films, which aim to highlight a specific topic or a specific story. The films are based on excerpts from the longer interviews, focusing, for example, on the story of objects (Testimony of Exile in 30 Objects), on the messages given by the interviewees at the end of the interviews (Voices for a Better World), or at the collective experiences of emigration (Continental Britons and Seven Stories).
TESTIMONIES OF EXILE IN 30 OBJECTS
This film tells the story of the refugees from Germany and Austria who came to the UK through 30 objects, of importance for the interviewees.
DAISY AND LOUISE
This film is about the friendship between a Kindertransport refugee and an English girl who helped her shortly after her arrival in 1939.
TWO MINUTES SILENCE
This film is a record of the silences in testimonies. and a tribute to the parents of the Kindertransport refugees.
Talking Testimony: Reflections on 'A Kind of Haunting'
Interviews with scholar Marianne Hirsch, composer Michael Zev Gordon, and poet Jacqueline Saphra.
VOICES FOR A BETTER WORLD
This film features the messages and reflections of 80 Holocaust survivors and refugees. It was commissioned by the German IHRA presidency in 2020.
Continental Britons
This film was shown as part of the Continental Britons exhibition at the Jewish Museum in 2002. It features well known German Jewish refugees, such as actor Andrew Sachs and writer Judith Kerr, and tells the collective story of emigration and exile.
Lives in Focus: Hella Pick CBE
This film follows Hella Pick CBE to the archives of World Jewish Relief, where she being shown her and her mother's documents for the first time

Feature-length documentary, featuring the experiences of 25 Jewish-Austrian refugees.
